Tanya Krietlow
Tanya Krietlow is currently the Cultural Programs Manager with the SD Network Against Family Violence and Sexual Assault. With over 30 years of experience working with Native Americans and their families in counseling, education, law enforcement, health care, environment, and access to care, she has dedicated her career advocating for Native Americans in multiple spaces and am extremely passionate about supporting survivors and those who work with them. In addition to her role at The Network, she serves on the boards of the South Dakota Humanities Council, South Dakota Urban Indian Health, Sotera, and Freshman Impact. Tanya is also part of the Rotary. Each of these roles allows her to stay connected to important work happening in our community and across the state.
Tanya has lived in Pierre since 1993 and loves everything about living by the river. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, hiking, gardening, fishing, camping and long walks with her dog, Sully.
She was introduced to CASA and served on the CASA board many years ago and really appreciated the mission and the hard work of the CASA volunteers. Tanya is at the stage of life where she can volunteer, and was happy to be accepted into the 6th Circuit CASA.
