Changing Lives, Taking Flight: A Night of Hope, Community, and Impact

The inaugural Changing Lives, Taking Flight raffle and fundraising event was an inspiring evening filled with community spirit, generosity, and a shared commitment to making a difference in the lives of children served by Central SD CASA.

Supporters from across our service area gathered to enjoy an evening of great food, live music, exciting raffle drawings, and a silent auction—all while celebrating the mission of Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA). The event brought together community members, business partners, volunteers, and advocates who believe every child deserves a safe, permanent, and nurturing home.

Throughout the evening, guests learned more about the critical role CASA volunteers play in advocating for children involved in the court system due to abuse or neglect. These dedicated volunteers provide a consistent voice for children during some of the most challenging times in their lives, helping ensure their best interests remain at the center of every decision.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our sponsors, donors, raffle participants, auction contributors, and event attendees, the event was a tremendous success. Funds raised will directly support the recruitment, screening, training, and ongoing support of CASA volunteers serving children throughout Central South Dakota.

Beyond the fundraising results, the evening demonstrated the power of a community coming together to create brighter futures for vulnerable children. Every raffle ticket purchased, auction item donated, sponsorship secured, and volunteer hour contributed helps provide children with the advocacy and support they deserve.
